HISTORIC MILESTONE: ST MICHAEL ANGLICAN CHURCH, EGBEDA, LAGOS, ACQUIRES AND DEDICATES STATE-OF-THE-ART BABIJOH ORGAN

In a grand ceremony marked by joy, thanksgiving, and celebration, St Michael Anglican Church, Egbeda, unveiled its newly acquired Babijoh Organ - T380, a cutting-edge musical instrument poised to elevate the church's worship experience to unprecedented heights. The dedication service, held on March 31, 2025, was performed by Bishop Rt Rev James Olusola Odedeji, Bishop of the Lagos West Anglican Diocese.

The acquisition of the Babijoh Organ - T380 represents a significant milestone in the history of St Michael Anglican Church, Egbeda, under the visionary leadership of Vicar Rev Can Emmanuel Iherome. This remarkable instrument, manufactured by Babijoh Consults, boasts an impressive array of features, including three manuals, a touchscreen interface, record/play option, 100-memory bank, Hereford set, and 24 audio channels. The organ's facade pipes add a touch of elegance and sophistication, making it a true masterpiece of modern organ design.

The journey to acquiring this magnificent instrument began on November 15, 2024, when the church placed an order for the Babijoh Organ - T380. After months of anticipation, the organ finally arrived at St Michael Anglican Church, Egbeda, where it was carefully installed and tested to ensure optimal performance.

The dedication ceremony, attended by dignitaries, church members, and guests, was a testament to the power of faith, perseverance, and community. Bishop Rt Rev James Olusola Odedeji, in his dedicatory remarks, emphasized the significance of the Babijoh Organ - T380 as a tool for enhancing worship, fostering spiritual growth, and promoting unity among the congregation.
