In 2009, Norwegian musician Nina Irslinger set the initial record for the longest church organ marathon, playing for an impressive 36 hours. However, her record was short-lived, as Canadian musician Jacqueline Sadler took the title in 2011 with a marathon performance lasting 40 hours, 36 minutes, and 8 seconds. Irslinger was not one to give up easily, and she regained the title in 2015 with a staggering 60-hour performance.
